Prosecco Sparkling Wine with Strawberries Recipe
This refreshing and sweet Prosecco sparkling wine with strawberries is ideal for a romantic dinner, bridal shower, or summer party.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle Prosecco
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1 pint fresh strawberries
- 1/4 cup of sugar
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cook Time: 5 minutes
- Total Time: 15 minutes
Instructions
- Strawberries should be washed and hulled.
- Place the strawberries, quartered, in a small saucepan with the sugar and water.
- Heat the saucepan over medium heat for 5 minutes, or until the sugar is dissolved and the strawberries are soft and syrupy.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and set aside to cool to room temperature.
- Pour the strawberry syrup into four champagne flutes.
- In each champagne flute, pour Prosecco over the strawberry syrup.
- Serve immediately after garnishing each glass with a strawberry.
