Watermelon Sangria Recipe

This refreshing watermelon sangria is ideal for summer parties or get-togethers. It has a sweet and tangy flavor because it is made with fresh watermelon, white wine, and a variety of citrus fruits. The addition of mint leaves gives this tasty drink a nice touch of freshness.

Ingredients

• 1 lemon, cut in half
• 14 cup triple sec
• 1/2 cup vodka
• 1/4 cup simple syrup
• 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
• 1 cup club soda
• 6 cups diced seedless watermelon
• 1 orange, cut in half
• 1 bottle of white wine (750 mL)
• 1 lime, sliced

Time Needed

• Prep Time: 10 minutes
• Total Time: 10 minutes

Instructions

• Puree the watermelon in a blender until smooth.
• Combine the watermelon puree, white wine, vodka, triple sec, simple syrup, lime slices, lemon slices, orange slices, and mint leaves in a large pitcher.
• Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight after thoroughly mixing.
• Stir in the club soda just before serving.
• If desired, serve over ice and garnish with additional mint leaves and fruit slices.
